Hi, guys! It's blog day and I have some excited news to share today. It was originally my plan to have a guest blogger today but I have postponed that for another week. Today's blog post is going to be real short and sweet since it's more of an update than anything else. So, during the month of March I started researching and looking for publishing firms that will accept manuscript submissions of recently self-published work. I had to be really specific in my search because not many publishers will take on recently self-published manuscripts; they want something unpublished. My research took about two weeks, but I finally found one that I liked and sent my manuscript to them.
*drum roll* I have been offered a publishing contract with a small publishing company! Everything is still in the works so I'm keeping the details and what not under wraps, but I did sign with the company today! I am really excited for this next step and for wherever it is going to lead me. The company I am signing with works closely with their authors and isn't trying to control or dictate what I write. They're super flexible and dedicated to helping their authors grow and reach a bigger audience. They care about my success and that is a plus for me!
Anyways, that's my news for the week! My book, The Crown of Amiriel, will most likely be getting a new book cover now that I am being published by a company. Thank you to everyone who has already bought copies and have the original one I self-published. I am really excited about this and hope you all continue to support me and keep following me for updates. I'll have more to share over the next couple of weeks. Until then, I'll see you guys later! Don't forget to check back here for my next book review!

A contrarian at heart. I prefer The Lord of the Rings over Harry Potter and Narnia. I love Country Music and John Hughes movies and am the worst at singing the correct lyrics.
