First, let me just say that I really enjoyed this debut novel by Georgia and I recommend it to others! Justice is a good paranormal romance about angels, humans, and demons so if you’re into that, this is the book to read. Sent to bring justice for a young girl who went missing during the 70’s so that he can get some color on his wings, Justice arrives in this small town and is soon drawn to the one woman who could make or break his mission considering she’s the suspects daughter.
Starting off, the opening is a bit slow but as you continue to read, the story picks up and gets a lot more interesting. It’s full of twists and subplots that keep you guessing and the chemistry between the two main characters is believable and instantly felt. I don’t want to give anything away because you all should read it for yourself, but one of my favorite things about this book is the subplot. The fact that Justice’s mission is clear yet vague, leaving you wondering what is going on, adds to the suspense of the novel.
Georgia also does a great job with characterization. It’s easy to distinguish between the characters from their actions and dialogue though when you read the dialogue of the main character, Justice, he talks like a woman sometimes. This could just be because the author is a woman. Other than that, the book is well written and keeps you entertained and intrigued the entire time. Make sure to check it out!
A contrarian at heart. I prefer The Lord of the Rings over Harry Potter and Narnia. I love Country Music and John Hughes movies and am the worst at singing the correct lyrics.
